Privacy

I store your email address, which version you bought, and the date of each download.

I need your address to send you the app and your download link. That is the only reason I have it. You won't end up on a mailing list, and I don't share or sell it to anyone.

Every download also records its date and a one-way hash of the IP address it came from. The address itself is never stored. This is only so I can tell when a link is being passed around, and I delete these records after 90 days.

I keep your record for as long as you own the app, so that your download link keeps working. Ask me to delete it and it's gone.

Four companies handle parts of this for me: Supabase keeps the database, Resend sends the mail, GitHub hosts the files, and Stripe takes payment. All four are based in the United States, so that is where your details are stored.

You can ask to see what I hold on you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to jeff@brdrck.me. Deleting your record takes its download history with it and switches off your link. If you think I've handled your details badly, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.

There is no analytics on this site and no tracking of any kind.

Terms

You're buying one major version, once. Every 1.x update is included forever. If there is ever a version 2, that's a separate purchase.

There's no licence key, no account, and no activation. The app never checks back with me to see whether you paid for it.

Your download link is yours alone. If it gets passed around I may revoke it. Revoking a link stops new downloads; it doesn't remove a copy that's already installed.

The app is provided as-is, without warranty, as far as the law allows.

Refunds

30 days, no questions asked. Write to jeff@brdrck.me and I'll refund you.

Since the app has no licence check, a refund can't take back software you've already installed. I revoke your download link and trust you to stop using it.
